What happens with your donations?
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our 140 runners at the 50th Berlin Marathon, we have raised a total of €86,689!
With this support, we can expand our child and mental health programs into more regions of southern Africa and establish a mobile Health Education Center.
Starting in spring 2025, our team will travel to remote rural areas, where we will not only offer our child and mental health programs but also Urban Gardening courses. We will provide vegetable and medicinal plant starter sets to families, helping them create small home gardens under guidance. One of the biggest issues in highly disadvantaged regions of southern Africa is malnutrition and poor diet. We see self-help initiatives and the implementation of sustainable solutions as key milestones in tackling these issues comprehensively. Our journey continues, and we are excited to embark on it together with you.

We are excited to participate as a charity partner in the upcoming Generali Berlin Half Marathon after the huge success at the 51st Berlin Marathon. We have 50 spots for dedicated runners at the starting line on March 29th 2026, in Berlin. By joining the i-MED team, you will support our vision of improving the health of children and young adults in southern Africa.
